Suzuki Swift EV hybrid heads to Tokyo Motor show
Now, India’s most popular hatchback – The Swift is also heading the EV route, Suzuki is offering a plug in hybrid version of their Swift compact at this year’s Tokyo Auto Show along with the Regina City Car Concept and the Q-Concept.
f the photos are any indication, Suzuki has spent their money putting an expensive powertrain into a cheap car rather than blowing loads of money on a new, cheap car and then building a costly powertrain. No word yet on pricing or total range, but the Swift will manage 30 kilometres on electric before switching to internal combustion.
